Milan

Milan was considered one of the most important cities in the Roman Empire, a cross road to Europe. The columns of San Lorenzo, has remains of a Roman amphitheater. In its prime it was as large as the Arena in Verona. You can also see remains of a Roman Forum under the Ambrosiano Library.
